A couple of authors gone

I didn't see any mention elsewhere on the boards, but a week or two ago, both Harper Lee and Umberto Eco passed away. Needless to say To Kill A Mockingbird has been on school lists for years and Umberto Eco, well The Name of the Rose made him better known.

I always loved To Kill a Mockingbird. Mrs. T and I tried to remember what year in school we read it. It had an impact on me and I remember our teacher did a real good job presenting it and fostering discussion. I do remember when we finally got to watch the movie, that I was scared.
