I always think the fact that Ted Cruz exists as a politician that everyone agrees unilaterally sucks, including those in his party and those who vote for him, is one of the biggest examples of how dysfunctional American politics has become.

A lot of people but unfortunately not everyone. My uncle who married a Catholic lady thought both Trump and Cruz sounded like "great guys" during their Presidential campaigns, and TBQH I still haven't forgiven him.
