I love astronomy. It's fun to understand.

I love astronomy. It's fun to understand.

I was making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch. I stepped away from the counter and immediately felt a chill. I turned around and realized I had been standing in the sun streaming in from my south facing window. I decided to eat on the kitchen floor in that beam of sunlight. It is noon and we are in the middle of the time zone, so the sun is directly south and the highest it will be today. We are three days from the winter solstice, so it will keep getting lower for just a few more days then start to get higher again.

I forgot to mention that it is -12 outside so this beam of sunlight is very important at the moment.

Apparently she is a geek, cat astronomer. Curls up in sunbeams, but understand the astronomy behind their appearance.

It's funny, I agree with your first statement but not sure I fully agree with the second just now. ;)
Yes, I have a life. It's quite different from yours.
