Big losses this last week: Peggy Lipton, Doris Day, and Tim Conway. Fresh Air replayed a delightful interview from 2012 just before her 80th birthday. Terrie Gross was absolutely star struck. At the time Doris Day was purposely out of the spotlight and rarely gave interviews, so this was a treat for Terrie as well as the listeners. Peggy Lipton of the ground breaking Mod Squad fame. And Tim Conway, comic genius. I grew up with him on the Carol Burnett show. I had not realized that he also did voices on Spongebob Squarepants.
Look for the Helpers. You will always find people who are helping.
